BIO: 

My name is Kirsten White, and I am The Witness. I have been shooting since I was in high school, and I have been professionally shooting since 2017 when I started The Witness Photography. I graduated with a photography degree, learning how to shoot and develop my own film, and printing images in the darkroom. I advanced my skills by assisting photographers in Nashville with weddings, eventually learning that I love the atmosphere of weddings. While my husband and I just recently moved to D.C., I love to travel, and will travel for most work, if a client needs it. I work in the whole DMV area, and I'm always looking to make a genuine connection with a client. I pride myself on capturing moments and emotion, by getting to know my clients before their session or wedding. I do portrait sessions for individuals, couples, headshots, and branding sessions of products and local businesses.

I am a true to color, with moody and vibrant tones. I pride myself on capturing all details, documenting all of the smiles, kisses, and details that mean the most to each client. I don't just pose clients, I create experiences- moments to be remembered.
