Bio: 

Raised in Miami and constantly surrounded by the beach and sun, traditional tanning was an everyday part of life. Once I moved to Northern Virginia, I started using tanning beds regularly to maintain my tan. However, this came at a price – and a skin cancer scare in my early twenties led me in search of an alternative to harmful tanning beds. I was then introduced to the world of spray tanning and immediately became fascinated with achieving that same natural look in a safe and healthy way. I began to immerse myself into the world of skin care, and became even more educated on how spray tanning works. Although I’d been spray tanning my friends casually for many years, in 2009 a friend suggested a joint venture, where I would tan her clients as requested. Business was referral-based and successful, but as I continued to refine my craft and gained expertise as a trainee under a celebrity spray tan artist (who has clients such as Kim Kardashian and J-Lo), I decided it was time to take my business to the next level. In 2018 I moved Spray Tans by Sarah out of my home and into Salon Lofts to pursue my passion full time. I love seeing the look on my client’s faces after they see themselves with the perfect glow; giving women confidence in themselves and their bodies is truly the most rewarding part of it all. I’m so excited to meet all of you, and look forward to continuing to show my clients how safe and natural-looking spray tanning can be!
